she can see me!

It's an amazing feeling when you know that your baby can really see you. The photo above was taken last December 21. Mama and Papa were out celebrating their wedding anniversary and Jay was at band rehearsal in Makati, so I had no witnesses, which was why I needed to take this photo.

I was just lying down watching TV while Layla lay down on my chest for some burping when I suddenly heard several coos and a chuckle and found her beaming at me. I laughed at her and said, "Camera, camera!" But the cameras were far from us...all I had was my mobile phone. And because she was smiling 3 inches away from my face, it was difficult to take a shot. Plus every time I placed the phone in front of my face for a photo, she stopped smiling. So I took pictures without really looking and this was the best shot, the cutest photo we have of her. Horrible quality, but it looks wonderful on all our mobile phones. Every time someone asks me, "How's your baby?" I just swing my phone into view and say, "Look at her!!!"

I'm a proud momma. Aw, just look at that toothless smile. I love it! :)
