Preggy's night out.
One of the things I really miss is gig-hopping with J. The last time I saw him sing was at the Oakly Thump Launch that we organized last April. Since then I'd just wake up when he gets home and he'd tell me all about the gig so that I wouldn't feel so left out.
Until finally, Oakley decided to make a bar tour for the Thump, so I helped J organize the Oakley Thump Bar Tour: Wherever You May Roam. It lasted from August 12 to September 3 and I attended two of the five legs.

J allowed me to attend the opening of the bar tour at The Hole in Makati because smoking wasn't allowed and Mom (his mom) was going home early. I was so excited. My sister Carla and J's cousin Chessy were there, and some of my friends go to go, too. I took a few photos and realized that the music was so loud...was the baby ok? I texted Tita Steny the next day, asking if loud noise or music would affect the baby's hearing and she said no. Phew!

I also attended the third leg of the bar tour in 6Underground. My sisters Carla and Bianca and a lot of friends were there, so I enjoyed the gig very much. I took more photos this time but my tummy was so big, I couldn't get all the angles I wanted. This also made me realize that I never want to be this huge again. It's tough being a fat camerawoman.

After the show, I was so proud of J, both as the singer of the band and the director of the event. I couldn't attend the last two legs but at least I got to watch him twice before becoming the resident preggy again. Right now, he's working on a concert series that will require him to be out of town a lot in October, my 8th month, but I'm not afraid. I love it that J's still out in the field doing what he does best because he's really passionate about his work. But to play safe, we both set aside two weeks for the time that I'm due, so we're praying that the baby follows our schedule. Haha! You hear that, baby? We need you to be on time! Because your parents are workaholics. :)
PS. Dang my nose is huge!
